How to produce Blog posts from YouTube using Chat-GPT

Introduction

In the realm of digital content creation, innovation is key. In this article I am exploring a groundbreaking approach to content creation: transforming YouTube videos into blog posts using Chat-GPT.

I leverage the transcripts from YouTube videos to construct the first drafts of my blog posts. This method not only saves time but also ensures consistency between video and written content.

Step 1: Adding the Browser Extension

The first step involves integrating a browser extension. This tool is compatible with both Chrome and Edge. You can get the extension by visiting the Chrome Web Store at https://chromewebstore.google.com and searching for "YouTube summary with ChatGPT." I chose the extension " YouTube Summary with ChatGPT & Claude, which supports both Chat GPT and another AI, Claude.

 Step 2: Accessing Chat GPT

For this process, an OpenAI account is necessary. You can use either the free or paid versions. However, I suggest that the paid version yields better results as it includes Chat GPT-4.

Step 3: Generating the Transcript and Summary

Once the extension is active, a "Transcript and Summary" option appears in the top right corner of the video.

After selecting this option, the extension provides a detailed transcript of the video. By clicking the Chat GPT icon, you are then redirected to a page where the AI summarises the transcript into five bullet points.

Step 4: Creating the Blog Post Draft

After the bullet points are provided you can instruct Chat GPT to craft a comprehensive blog post. These draft forms the basis of his blog content, which you then fine-tune using a word processor for improved presentation and readability.

 Conclusion

In conclusion it is important to edit and personalize the AI-generated content before publishing.

I am keen to learn about your experiences with AI in content creation. Share your insights and methods in the comments below.
